Mission

Sebastopol Berry Farm was started in 1986 by Tarcicio and Sabina Vigil who purchased Green Valley Farms. (Green Valley planted the first blueberries in California in 1940.)

We are a small family farm with everyone involved in either selecting varieties, picking berries or selling them at local farmers markets. Since 1986 the farm expanded into other types of berries such as raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

We are dedicated to growing the most flavorful berries, picking them at their peak and offering them fresh directly to our customers.

Berry Season 2014

It's been a few months since our last post.  We were busy with winter, pruning, weeding, and all the other good stuff to get our berries ready for 2014.

The last few weeks have been good for the berries but they are still not quite in season.  We've had a few strawberries and the first basket of raspberries but not enough to get us back to the farmers market.

We expect to be back with berries in a week or two.  Depending on the weathers cooperation.
