Mission

Sebastopol Berry Farm was started in 1986 by Tarcicio and Sabina Vigil who purchased Green Valley Farms. (Green Valley planted the first blueberries in California in 1940.)

We are a small family farm with everyone involved in either selecting varieties, picking berries or selling them at local farmers markets. Since 1986 the farm expanded into other types of berries such as raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

We are dedicated to growing the most flavorful berries, picking them at their peak and offering them fresh directly to our customers.

What's the plan for the week of June 16?

Good weather the last few days has been great for the berries!

Blueberries are really, really good.

Boysenberries are going to have a shorter season this year.  If you see them at the markets, get them while you can.

Loganberries have had a good season.  Another week and they'll be done for the year.

Black raspberries are going to have a short season too.  They have not done well with the drier conditions.

Blackberries are looking good after the set back with the heat last week. They are getting sweeter every day.

Markets this week
Tues in Napa
Wed in Santa Rosa
Thurs in San Rafael
Fri - St Helena
Sat - Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and (yes) Palo Alto
Sun - Sebastopol (of course), San Rafael and Menlo Park (TBD)
