Mission

Sebastopol Berry Farm was started in 1986 by Tarcicio and Sabina Vigil who purchased Green Valley Farms. (Green Valley planted the first blueberries in California in 1940.)

We are a small family farm with everyone involved in either selecting varieties, picking berries or selling them at local farmers markets. Since 1986 the farm expanded into other types of berries such as raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

We are dedicated to growing the most flavorful berries, picking them at their peak and offering them fresh directly to our customers.

Celebrating 30 Years!

That's right we've been growing berries for 30 years this year!  Wow!

We kicked off the season at the St Helena farmers market a few weeks ago with a small harvest of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries.  The St Helena farmers market was one of the first markets we participated in.  Over the years the market has been very supportive of our farm and family.  I remember driving over the hill during summer breaks and setting up our stand.  Good times.

Tomorrow we'll be at the Sat farmers market in Santa Rosa with more great berries.  Stop by say hello and pick up berries for Memorial Day weekend BBQs and picnics.
