Berry Update #7

This week has been really foggy in Sebastopol

We'll have a few organic blueberries at the farmers markets this weekend. Stop by early if you want to get some.

In transition blueberries- we have another few weeks to go with these.

Blackberries - Triple crown and Chester varieties

Red raspberries - the first of the fall crop are here. Stop by early if you want to get some of these berries too!

Call ahead if you want to stop by the farm stand. As we wind down the season, our hours are limited.

Berry Update #4

Mini heat wave expected for this weekend.

Still in season - organic blueberries - remember to pick some up and celebrate National Blueberry Month this July.

Marion blackberries are beginning to wind down their season. We'll have a limited number at the farmers markets this weekend. These make excellent jams and pies!

Cherokee blackberries - we have one more week left to the season. These berries are sweet and juicy!

Triple Crown blackberries - are just starting their season. These berries are true really large and have excellent flavor too!

Boysenberries - we have a few left this weekend as they wrap up their season. These have been excellent this year. Stop by the farmers markets early - they'll go fast!

Sat - Santa Rosa, Palo Alto, Davis & Healdsburg
Sun - Sebastopol, Menlo Park and Marin/San Rafael

4th of July Weekend

Promises to be a busy weekend! Organic blueberries at their peak, Marion and Cherokee blackberries have great flavor and the boysenberry season is winding down.

Fri - St Helena in the morning @ Crane Park and Cloverdale @ downtown plaza in the evening
Sat - Santa Rosa (free berry popper compliments of the SR farmer market association between 10-11am), Healdsburg, Palo Alto and Davis farmers markets
Sun - Sebastopol, Windsor, Menlo Park and Marin (@Northgate mall for this Sun only)

Berry Update #2

Organic blueberries are at the peak of the season this week. This is a great week to buy if you are going to freeze or make jams.

Ollalie blackberries - with the heat this weekend the last of the crop picked up great flavor. Last full week with any real quantities at the farmers markets.

Marion blackberries - we had a few this weekend at the farmers markets. This coming week we'll have them again at the markets. Super sweet and juicy!

Cheyenne blackberries - we've had them for a few weeks and the flavor on these berries is excellent. About a week left in the season

Black raspberries - these berries have been excellent this season. Last full week for these too. We only get one crop a year (not like the red raspberries where we get a spring and fall crop) so don't miss out.

Boysenberries - like the Ollalie's picked up great flavor over the weekend. These are my personal favorite. Get them while they're in season - ~1 full week.
