Mission

Sebastopol Berry Farm was started in 1986 by Tarcicio and Sabina Vigil who purchased Green Valley Farms. (Green Valley planted the first blueberries in California in 1940.)

We are a small family farm with everyone involved in either selecting varieties, picking berries or selling them at local farmers markets. Since 1986 the farm expanded into other types of berries such as raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

We are dedicated to growing the most flavorful berries, picking them at their peak and offering them fresh directly to our customers.

Berry Update #10

Hot, Hot, Hot early in the week! Berries took a bit of a hit with temps that reached 105 degrees at the farm. You'll see a few sun burned spots on some of the berries. Don't be alarmed - they may have blemishes but the flavor is still there.

This week - limited supply of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries due to the heat wave.

We cut back on farmers markets this weekend but hope to be back to a more regular schedule next week.

Saturday - only in Palo Alto and Santa Rosa

Sunday - Sebastopol and the Marin/San Rafael
