Mission

Sebastopol Berry Farm was started in 1986 by Tarcicio and Sabina Vigil who purchased Green Valley Farms. (Green Valley planted the first blueberries in California in 1940.)

We are a small family farm with everyone involved in either selecting varieties, picking berries or selling them at local farmers markets. Since 1986 the farm expanded into other types of berries such as raspberries, blackberries and strawberries.

We are dedicated to growing the most flavorful berries, picking them at their peak and offering them fresh directly to our customers.

Berry Update #10

Hot, Hot, Hot early in the week! Berries took a bit of a hit with temps that reached 105 degrees at the farm. You'll see a few sun burned spots on some of the berries. Don't be alarmed - they may have blemishes but the flavor is still there.

Golden and Orange raspberries - give these a few more weeks.

Farm stand open today between 11-3pm. We have a new batch of blueberry ice cream for you to enjoy.

Berry Poppers at the Santa Rosa Farmers Market July 3

To celebrate the 4th of July, the Santa Rosa Farmers Market association is giving away free berry poppers between 10 -11 am. The berry poppers are shortbread from Flour Creations, followed by a layer of strawberries from Orchard Farms or Ortiz Farms, followed by a layer of whipped cream (compliments of Flour Creations) and topped with our blueberries. Wow!

Look for them at the entrance to the Farmers Market - Santa Rosa Veterans Building Parking lot (across from fairgrounds)
